RESUME: Travelling the world as a young gymnast gave HELEN a chance to visit, and gain an insight, into many different communities. In particular she developed an impressive knowledge and appreciation of the diversity of all the European cultures. Proud winner of Olympic Gold, Helen's primary passion remains gymnastics. No beam is too narrow for Helen, no jump too far - she is always looking for new physical challenges to test her skills to the limit.

Helen was the natural choice to coordinate all cultural, media and sport activities for the TWELVE STARS EURO TEAM in the KNOWLEDGE SPHERE of the ATOMIUM.

PERSONAL: You will already have gathered that this girl is no lumbering muscle machine. Todays international gymnast must combine grace and strength with intelligence and self expression. To relax, Helen enjoys developing these qualities through the art of dance. In dancing she finds true freedom to express herself through the discipline of traditional choreography. Familiar with many European styles, she particularly impresses in the emotional expression possible in her favourites: the flamenco and the waltz.
